• Valentinian I come from Cibale in Pannonia
• He Separate the territory into 2 (East & West) and rule by him and his brother Valens the East
• Base on Ammianus, Valentinian I has defeated the German in the Black Forest from Valley of the River Neckar
• After 7 years remain in Germany, he move and build fortress at Ambian(Amiens) from Basilia
• Valentinian I also success to settle problem between Rome with German
• In 374, Eastern section of Northern border was breached by group of Sarmantian erupted across the middle and upper Danube (Hungary and Austria)
• In 375, he restored the fortress on the Danube and also kill German envoy in Hungary due to their insolent attitude
